Deliverable
Also known as: Requirement (on some screens)
A defined piece of work at one Innovation Maturity Level in one domain, with its own percent-complete status.
Full Definition
Each Deliverable states what must be done, why it matters, and how to do it, in its What, Why, and How fields. A team records the Responsible Person, the Work Package it belongs to, schedule and commercial risk, status, an outcome category, and estimated cost. The Solution Type sets the Deliverables, and many are shared across Solution Types. Authorized users can also add custom Deliverables.
On the carousel, each segment is one Deliverable, and its colored portion shows percent complete. GAITS keeps a dated history of every status change, which allows playback of a project's maturity over time. Some screens label a Deliverable as a Requirement.
A MedTech team opens the Deliverable "Comparator / Reference Devices Identified", assigns a Responsible Person, links it to its regulatory Work Package, and updates its status as the work progresses.
