CRAASH

Also known as: CRAASH BCN, CRAASH Program

A structured healthcare innovation program that guides early-stage teams through customer discovery, business model development, and commercialization strategy.

Full Definition

CRAASH (Clinical Research and Commercialization Accelerator for Surgical and Healthcare innovations) is a flagship GAITS program. It applies the VERITAS methodology for stakeholder discovery and the H-BMC framework for business model development. Teams complete a structured learning sequence involving discovery interviews, H-BMC canvas development, mentor engagement, and funding readiness assessment.
Example
A CRAASH BCN cohort team conducts 15 VERITAS-guided discovery interviews, builds their H-BMC canvas through five iterations, and presents to a panel of clinical, commercial, and investor mentors at the program's final showcase.
