Three roles. One shared platform.
Every GAITS user has one of three roles. Select yours for a complete orientation to the platform — what each section does, how the platform is structured, and what is available to you.
You have been invited to a Solution Site for a healthcare innovation project. Your guide covers everything you need to navigate the platform, work through the GAITS frameworks, and track your team's progress.

You have been assigned by programme leadership to provide guidance to one or more innovation teams. Your guide covers accessing team sites, using the mentor workspace, and sharing structured feedback with programme leadership.

You are responsible for a programme's portfolio of Solution Sites. Your guide covers setting up and managing sites, assigning mentors, using portfolio-wide oversight tools, and organising projects across sub-portfolios.

Not sure which role you have? If you received an invitation to join a specific project, you are a Team Member. If you were asked to mentor one or more teams by programme leadership, you are a Mentor. If you are running the programme and setting up projects for others, you are a Portfolio Manager. If you are still unsure, contact the person who invited you to GAITS.
Platform overview
What GAITS gives every user
Regardless of role, all GAITS users share access to the four innovation frameworks — the Healthcare Innovation Cycle, VERITAS, the H-BMC, and the Funding Readiness Framework. These are available from the navigation bar at the top of every page and are free to explore at any time.
Beyond the frameworks, each role has access to a tailored set of platform tools. Solution Sites are the private working environments for each project. Mentors have a shared private workspace within each site. Portfolio managers have a portfolio dashboard that spans all of their sites.
