CIMIT is thrilled to announce the launch of the Covid-19 Testing Impact Calculator at WhenToTest.org developed in collaboration with MIT researchers from the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS).
The modeling tool aims to help organizations around the world answer the often confusing questions about who should be tested, how often, which test to use, the impact of mitigation strategies, and how much will it all cost. The calculator compares testing options and gives organizations the data they need to make informed decisions to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
RADx: Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADxsm) initiative was formed to accelerate the development, validation, and commercialization of innovative point-of-care and home-based tests, as well as improvements to clinical laboratory tests, that can directly detect SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
