Data Destroyers
Also known as: Fatal Violations, Tier 1 Violations
Tier 1 of the VERITAS framework — violations that collapse the discovery space entirely.
Full Definition
Data Destroyer violations change the nature of the conversation from discovery to something else. The interviewee stops sharing their reality and starts performing for the interviewer's. Nothing collected after a fatal violation can be treated as unbiased discovery data. The three Data Destroyer rules are: No Solution Framing, No Seeding, and No Interpretation.
Example
An interviewer who pitches their product mid-interview has committed a Data Destroyer violation. Every positive response after that point is socially accommodating, not genuine.
